With a one-month or three-month membership to TV News Gigs’ Digital Agent you can sit back and let it work for you. With so many other applicants mailing resume tapes, news directors’ desks get full fast. Cut through the clutter by getting your name to the top of the pile with Digital Agent. Pick the markets you want to work in and Digital Agent does the rest. Digital Agent allows you to upload your resume (.doc) and a headshot (.jpg). You mail us your resume video and then Digital Agent sends your info right to the news director’s inbox when there is a posting on TVNewsGigs.com that matches the markets and job type you have chosen. News directors can click the link sent to them to view your resume and video clip. Each week we will let you know where your resume has landed. Then you can follow up with those stations. Just click on the Register Now button posted on TV News Gigs' main page. Job seekers will be asked to fill out a form that collects basic information. TV News Gigs will not sell or exchange names or any other information about our customers with third parties. You will then be directed to the PayPal site to complete the transaction. We never see your financial information since Pay Pal processes all memberships. In just minutes you'll be searching our extensive job list for your next gig!

TV News Gigs processes your payments safely and securely through Pay Pal. You can use your major credit card whether you have a Pay Pal account or not.

On the TV News Gigs main page, type your member name (email address) and password in the box provided. You will then be able to fill in the type of job and/or salary range you are looking for in the search fields and click search. You can also search by clicking View Jobs once you are logged in. There you can search by type of job, salary range and/or market size range.

When you sign up for either Go Tapeless or Digital Agent, you will also be asked to upload a headshot (.jpg) and resume (.doc) that will be sent out along with your resume information when an opening that matches your search criteria becomes available. When you find the job posting you have been looking for, you can mail your resume tape or send your Go Tapeless link directly to the contact info listed in the posting. If you have signed up for Digital Agent, your info will be sent out for you and you can contact the station for follow up. TV News Gigs does not represent talent nor negotiate contracts.

TV Stations can post jobs to TV News Gigs by first registering as an employer. To do this, click Register Now in the upper right corner on the main page. You will be asked to sign up and create a password (free for employers). If you have already signed up, type your member name (email address) and password in the Log In boxes on the home page. Once you have logged in, you will be able to fill out the details of your job opening(s) as well as include the specific contact info for each job posting.

Some job seekers that see your job postings will see your job opening and send their resume and tape to you. You may also receive an email with a link to a job seeker's profile. This link will take you to the applicant's resume, picture, and video clip that you can view right from your computer.

When you receive a message from TV News Gigs' Digital Agent it means that a job you have available matches the criteria a TV News Gigs member was looking for. Click on the link in the email and it will take you to the member's online resume, headshot, and video clip. Digital Agent makes it easy for the newsroom and the job seeker to find each other.
